Happy birthday, Daddy and Uncle Keith! We celebrated the twins' 31st birthday this week with a cookout at Uncle Keith and Aunt Rachelle's house. Mimi, Grandbuddy, Aunt Kim and Uncle Darin were there, too (we missed you, Aunt Kristen and Uncle Kenneth). Such a good time and of course, delicious food!
I went to the doctor this past week and all is measuring out appropriately and looks good. Madeline measures over 16 inches long this week and weighs about 3.3 lbs. (equivalent to four navel oranges). She's heading into a growth spurt, and I'm curious to see what the belly will do. Painting my toenails, trying to maneuver in between our two cars in the garage, reaching into the washing machine, and hugging people is quite the show...BUT, I do have a fabulous arm rest, food "bib," built-in entertainment system and pillow for the pets. Not to mention, people are really nice to pregnant women...stopping their cars so you can cross the street, opening doors, letting you go first in line at the grocery store, always smiling and offering compliments, the list goes on! I'll take it :)
I can feel some stretching this week and I am certainly noticing the extra 18 lbs. in my feet, hips and back. I'm very blessed to have a husband who helps out so much around the house and offers massages at the end of the day. I couldn't ask for a better, more loving caregiver and partner throughout this pregnancy. Two more months - we can dooo iiit!
We're looking forward to some maternity photography this week and some upcoming showers given by amazing friends! Such an exciting time!
