Sleep (verb)
1. to take the rest afforded by a suspension of voluntary bodily functions and the natural suspension, complete or partial, of consciousness; cease being awake.
I miss sleep. I miss a good, deep, comfortable sleep. I have no trouble falling asleep at night, its just staying comfortable that seems to be the problem. I am 29 years old, my hips are 95. I guess it could be worse though. Last night, I propped myself up on my back/sitting up. Surprisingly, I could fall asleep like that and slept that way most of the night without trouble. Though I did wake up early this morning on my side again. So, there still wasn't consistent sleep, but there was no hip pain this morning, thank goodness.
Baby M is now about 11" long and weighs just over a pound - about the size of a large mango.
We're still watching her rock and roll under my clothes and she's responding to Derek's voice, which is really special for him. He talks to her at night when we're settling into bed and she acknowledges him with a few kicks and flips. I have noticed that these kicks and flips continue into the wee hours of the night. Every time I wake up to turn over, I notice that she's having a party in there. Mind you, this is 2 and 3 o'clock in the morning. Uh oh. Is that a sleep pattern I see?
I went to the doctor today for a check-up. All is well and heart beat is still strong. I'm at 10 lbs. total weight gain, but it seems to be staying primarily in the belly region (we'll see where it goes over the next 16 weeks). I go back in 4 weeks for my Rhogam shot and glucose test, and then I will be officially entering the 3rd trimester. Time, which seemed to be creeping by lately, all of a sudden seems to be speeding up!

I'm glad things are continuing to go well for you and Baby M! I feel like all of a sudden I am staying in the same spot of time in my pregnancy and you are catching up to me! :)
