DeBordieu

Our final beach trip of the summer has come and gone.  As always, we enjoyed our time in SC, rain and all.  Our first couple of days at DeBordieu, it rained and rained and rained some more.  We shopped one day, and took the kids on a road trip to Myrtle Beach to visit the Aquarium another day (Madeline met a mermaid, which made her week!!).  After that, the skies cleared and allowed us some time on the beach (whew!).  We enjoyed cooking every night with Papa and Vie, except for one night, when we took the whole family to the club for dinner.  We had to get there at 6 in order to make it happen without meltdowns, but it happened and both kids did great!  On our last night, we drove the golf cart around the colony in search of 'gators (we saw one!).  The kids LOVED the cart and the wind in their faces!
