Madeline is going to preschool!

I can't believe I'm blogging about my baby girl going to preschool.  She's so grown up - and it happened WAY too fast.

Madeline will go to her first day of preschool on September 2.  She's in the Tuesday/Thursday 3's class at Apex UMC Preschool.  We had parent orientation and meet the teacher day at school this week and all three of us are thrilled!  Madeline has two wonderful teachers (Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Vanessa) and will be in the Frog class.  She'll have music every Tuesday (with Ms. Ashleigh) and chapel on Thursdays, which will be led by one of our preachers at Apex, Gray or Jenny.  

We had the chance to talk with her teachers at length and meet some of the other parents and kids this week.  We couldn't be more pleased.  It's such a great program and I know our sweet girl will love it.  

This week, before we took M to meet her teachers and see her classroom, I took her on a breakfast date to Brueggers (her fave!) and then we walked over to the grocery store to pick out snacks for the first week of school (Madeline is up first to bring snacks for the class).  She was so excited to help Mama choose snacks for her new friends.  She chose cheese and apple slices for one day and applesauce for the next.

Stay tuned for what's sure to be a weepy post next week as she begins her new journey at preschool!  Gah, I love this kid.
