22 months

So, I started my day today by ordering Madeline's birthday cake...I can hardly believe I'm already thinking about my little baby's second birthday.  Some days she's still my little bitty...but only some days.  Most days, she's this independent, beautiful big girl who wants to do things by herself...living big.  Making her mama and daddy so proud of who she is becoming.  Derek and I had the conversation today about how amazing this age is - how nice it is that she tells us what she needs, what she wants, what's bothering her.  She's such a kind little spirit - yet extremely strong-willed.  She amazes me every single day with what she knows and what she can do.  She makes me swoon, can you tell?  

Not much new to new to report this month.  She's just cool.  Period.
