Potty (and 19 month update)

So, Madeline has been really interested in potty lately.  She tells us when she has to "pee pee" (amongst other things) and follows us into the bathroom to say "bye bye pee pee."  SO, we bought her a potty over the weekend so that we're prepared when she's ready to roll. She has enjoyed "practicing" and even wants her Dora doll to potty. She puts Dora on the potty, gets some toilet paper and wipes her, and then wants to wash her hands.  Seems like she's getting it already :)

Here's a little video of her routine.  Note that she pulls up her pant bottoms...she knows that the pants have to do something for your bare legs to show, so this is her interpretation.  Hilarious.

Madeline is also putting together sentences and knows so much more than we give her credit for.  She routinely tells us "Mama's chair" and "Daddy's chair" while we're eating dinner (and points to the chairs). She also told me on the way home from the store last week, "Mama?  Juice, Nana" (informing me that that is what she wanted for a snack when we got home).  We literally have conversations and she can tell us what she wants and whats going on in her little mind.  Her recent favorites are bubbles, Dora the Explorer, reading books, coloring, hide and seek, playing chase, and juice(!).  She's still really loving her veggies and fruits.  We haven't really found too much she isn't a fan of (except for squash and collards).  On walks, she now wants to get out of her stroller and walk with us and she goes totally bonkers for a bath.  It's another favorite.

So proud of our little bitty woman.  She's growing so fast!
