Our sweet girl is blowing us away with her vocabulary - still. We read lots of books with her and where there are animals, there is a pause while she names every single one. Tonight, we heard about "owls," "elephants," "giraffes," and "octopus." Yes, octopus. Go figure. She is also completely intrigued by Derek's leaf blower in the garage and has to point it out every morning on the way to the car - "Daddy's blower." Basically, M is a chatter box and loves to hold conversations with us...and has learned the correct use of the word "no."
She has almost perfected eating with a fork. We're still working with her on it, but she is pretty darn good at eating chicken and bananas with one. Her favorite foods these days are pancakes (or waffles), apples, broccoli, rice, and dill pickles. She has also become a big fan of PB&Js and grilled cheese sandwiches.
She still likes her potty, but it's still the idea that she likes. I don't think we're there just yet, but we're getting close. We'll be ready when she is! She's a dancing and singing machine and runs everywhere she goes. She's the biggest, happiest, smartest blessing we've ever known and she owns every piece of our hearts.
