We also took our first beach trip of the summer with our dear friends, the Janovich family. We had a great time with the kids and enjoyed some adult time at night once M and Jack were asleep. Madeline has no fear of the beach (see a pattern?). She loved the waves crashing on her and had a bite or two of sand. She also had her first boat ride! She was fine on the boat but the life jacket wasn't a winner with either kiddo. Great weekend with great friends. I love sharing in the joys of motherhood with my childhood friend.
As far as Madeline updates go, we have a serious walker...no, runner. She's all over the place and loving her new found freedom. Her newest words are "milk," "baby," and "Hi Avery." I'd say she loves her cousin!
