She said it...

She said MAMA!!!


I cannot even begin to explain the joy I felt when I heard this sweet word come out of her mouth.  I felt the same joy when she was trying to settle in and go to bed tonight, and sat up in her crib and said "mama."  It took every part of my being not to run up the stairs, grab her, and snuggle.  Or maybe let her continue to play and stay up all night with her MAMA!


So, as we approach her one year birthday, we're saying:


Dada 
Daddy (sounds like da-deee)
De (for Deacon)
Hot
Light
Cat
Ball
Uh oh
Fat (though we've only heard it once - thank you, Uncle Darin)
Hi
Papa
Bed


And, Mama. :)
