You had quite the lengthy update last week, so we'll just add some fun highlights. Madeline is clapping her hands and she's starting to wave to us (well, technically, it started when she was waving at/with her Papa!). She's even "dancing." Mimi and Grandbuddy got her a musical activity walker for Christmas and she loves to stand up, holding on to it, and literally moves to the music. She moves those little legs like its going out of style. I could just squeeze her. She's truly one of the happiest little girls I know.
Tooth four is only days away from completely popping through and we're experimenting more and more with different foods at home. Madeline is also trying out some new sounds. We're hearing a lot of "ba ba ba" and "ca ca ca"...and yes, still some "da da da." And that fabulous squeal is still large and in charge. We jokingly call it her "Squatch call." If you've never heard of the TV show "Finding Bigfoot," I encourage you to Google it. It's about these four crazies that have been hunting Bigfoot for 20 years or something ridiculous like that. Anyway, long story short, they "call" to the Sasquatch (or "Squatch," as they say) while they're in the dark creepy woods and it sounds a little bit like what Madeline is doing. As I'm typing this, I'm realizing I sound just as crazy as these fools hunting a mythological creature. I blame it on the sleepless nights we've had recently, courtesy of tooth #3.
We can't wait to see what this next month has in store. I have no doubt it will be just as fabulous as the months preceding it.
