8 weeks and GROWING!

In just a span of 2 weeks, Baby B has gone through quite a growth spurt.  We had our prenatal appointment today and the baby is currently 2.04 cm, with a heartbeat of 171 beats/minute. In today's ultrasound, we saw fingers, the umbilical cord and cute little legs and feet. We even got to see baby move, which was incredible. Already charming his/her parents...smart little booger.

We had a long chat with the doctor about anything and everything – foods, exercise, cord blood…you name it. Have I mentioned that I adore my husband? He's so concerned and eager to help out where he can. I got the okay from the doctor to continue my running/walking and I am allowed to go to my yoga/pilates class up until 20 weeks. Whew! I have really missed it.

Todays...

Symptoms: Still nauseated. The doctor said that I need to eat a protein and take a vitamin B6 before bed and that would help! Fingers crossed...

Sleep: Yes, please. I can't get enough of the stuff. I think another word for pregnancy might be "narcolepsy." Readily awaiting my energy to return.

Weight gain: None yet, though I have had to purchase a "B Band" because my pants have officially become snug (and walking around with unbuttoned pants is not okay in my book).

Cravings: Nothing yet. Anything I can stomach, really!
